Setting Up Raspberry Pi For Ham Radio Use

I’ve wanted for awhile to get a Raspberry Pi. The conversation with my wife usual goes:
Me: I’d like a Raspberry Pi
Wife: Why?
Me: I don’t know
But now I have an answer. I want a Raspberry Pi so I can set it up for use with a ham radio. I don’t know why, but I want to. From the article:
